PA Council Day Report
What a phenomenal weekend in Bethlehem! The 25th Annual PA Council Day was an overwhelming success. Miriam Seifrit, the first PA State Director was able to join us. It was a pleasure to meet Miriam. We were extremely fortunate to have several NAIW members from other states in attendance. Donna Benson, VT Council Director, Carol Massare, NJ Council Director, Ruthie Goodwin, Dixie Watson, and Bonnie Adams were able to join us. Traveling from Connecticut were Debbi Kuhne, our RVP, Carrie Mott, Assistant to the RVP and Kyle Mott, Carrie’s son who was the BEST at assisting with the raffle drawings! NAIW of Lehigh Valley served as hosts for this event and did a fantastic job! They are to be commended.

Education Scholarships were awarded to Trudy Grove, Kay Clugston, Terrye Mullin, Christen Bloom, Carolyn Pender, Angela Mackey, Amy McClellan, Nancy Dunning, Kandi Klotz and Debra Banks. Legislation Winner: Insurance Women of York, Runner-up: Insurance Professionals of Greater Harrisburg Membership Winner: South Central Insurance Association, Runner-up: NAIW of Philadelphia Public Relations Winner: Michelle Walter, Runner-up: Trudy Grove Safety For associations with less than 25 members, Winner: NAIW - Lehigh Valley, Runner-up: Insurance Professionals of Susquehanna Valley. For associations with 25 or more members, Winner: Insurance Professionals of Lancaster County, Runner-up: Insurance Professionals of Harrisburg
The first PA Member of the Year Award was presented to Pat Eggles.

These Council positions will take office on July 1, 2012. If you have any interest in serving on a committee, NOW is the time to contact the individuals listed and pledge your assistance.
The Council pledged their support for Peggy Zanotto as she pursues the Region 1 Vice President position.
Reconfirmations and bids to host future PA Council Day were accepted for the
following years: 2013 South Central Insurance Association AND Tri-Country NAIW 2014 Insurance Professionals of Susquehanna Valley
Our auction fundraiser was a huge success! In 2 hours we were able to raise $3,012 for the PA Council fund. THANK YOU to all of the donors, the bidders, our runners and checkers; and, of course to our auctioneer extraordinaire, Angie Horton.
To all attendees, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank you for making my mother feel like a member of the NAIW family! She has mentioned several times today that she could feel the love and support of everyone and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

The Awards Luncheon and business meeting will follow education.
The Council Director Dinner for an additional charge will include an auction with Angie Horton serving as Auctioneer. This event will entertain you as well as raise funds for the PA Council.
